Most disputes between hirers and freelancers are really timing problems. One side has done the work and has not been paid. The other side has paid and has nothing yet. Meetsy settles payments in the app so that neither situation can happen.

Funding

When a hirer accepts a proposal, they fund the first milestone. The money sits in the project and is visible to both people. Talent can start knowing it exists.

Release

When the talent marks a milestone as delivered, the hirer has seven days to approve it or ask for changes. Approving releases the payment. If the hirer does nothing, the payment releases on day seven.

Payout

Released funds reach the talent's bank account in one to three business days. The fee is shown on the proposal before anyone agrees to anything: 8 percent from talent, nothing extra for hirers.

If the two sides cannot agree, either can open a review. A person on our team reads the thread, the delivered files and the original brief, and decides within five business days.
